Jamison and Patty’s love story began just a hallway apart, as neighbors in a downtown Boise apartment building. Prior to signing their leases, they had no idea that fate (and a meddling mom) was about to bring them together.The story really began on Thanksgiving in 2021. Patty’s mom, Cheryl, was visiting, and the two were getting ready to take the dogs, Violet and Molly, on a little stroll. As Cheryl lingered in the hallway waiting for Patty, she spotted the handsome neighbor next door loading up his fly fishing gear (one of Jamison’s favorite hobbies). Never one to miss an opportunity, Cheryl struck up a conversation about all the fishing trips she used to take with Patty’s dad, Bill. Before Patty knew it, her mom was practically Jamison’s fishing assistant, helping him haul his gear all the way down to the garage. Patty, slightly mortified, thought, Really, Mom?But Cheryl clearly knew what she was doing. When Patty and Cheryl returned from their walk, there was a handwritten note from Jamison waiting at her door requesting a coffee date.That coffee date never happened… but trivia night at a brewery did. And from that night on, everything clicked. One neighborly hello had turned into a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and love.Fast-forward to today, and Jamison and Patty have built an adventurous life together: teeing off on the golf course, casting lines on fishing trips, traveling to new places, hiking scenic trails, hitting the slopes skiing and snowboarding, and savoring simple joys like coffee talks and morning walks with Violet.A special thanks to Cheryl, our unofficial matchmaker.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

Sister of the bride. Need we say more? Christine has been through it all with Patty, the laughter, the tears, and everything in between. From childhood memories to wedding planning, there’s no one Patty would rather have by her side for this next chapter.

Over the years, Patty and Hannah have built a cherished friendship filled with brunch dates, hot gossip, antique mall adventures, and plenty of laughter. What began as getting to know her soon-to-be sister has grown into a bond built on love, trust, and always being there for one another.

Hannah Loveless

Juliette and Patty became friends after sharing a timeout during a birthday party in 4th grade. They matched each other’s spunky energy through elementary, middle, and high school. Their friendship carried through Patty’s years in California, and now they keep up as long-distance best friends.

Summer and Patty met in Austin, Texas and have been friends since. They have gone from gym partners (swolemates) to roommates to now only living a few minutes away from each other in Idaho. They do most everything together and are often asked if they are sisters.

Sarah and Patty met through the ATL grapevine and quickly became inseparable. They carried their friendship through high school, a year as college roommates, and now as Idahoans. Sarah and Patty share the love of adventurous behavior, frolicking around Sun Valley and Boise.

Keri and Patty became friends after Patty's move to Idaho. They had always known of each other through mutual friends in Atlanta, but their friendship finally blossomed when Patty moved to Idaho. Keri took Patty under her wing and helped navigate her love for Idaho. Keri is also one of Patty's #1 hype women!

Brother of the groom. From the early days of childhood spent playing ball in the driveway to the annual steelhead fishing trips on the famed North Umpqua and Clearwater Rivers, there was always only one choice for Best Man, brother of the groom, Ben.

Ryan and Jamison became teammates on the soccer team at San Jose State and developed a friendship as the two "engineer nerds" on the team. Immediately after college, they embarked on a euro trip together and lived together for a number of years after college in San Jose and San Francisco. 

Ryan Thomas

Andy and Jamison became teammates on the soccer team at San Jose State and have maintained a wonderful friendship since. Andy was a next door neighbor in San Jose, but frequently slept on Ryan and Jamison's couch (next to Ben, but thats a story for another time).

Eric and Jamison were also teammates at San Jose State and began their friendship as roommates in an apartment full of soccer players. Jamison had the honor of serving as a groomsman in Eric's wedding several years ago.

Enrique and Jamison were teammates and travel hotel partners while at San Jose State. This friendship has been maintained over the years and times together now are spent skiing and on the golf course (or Eric's pool).

Guillaume and Jamison met while working together on a large construction project, Guillaume as the Superintendent and Jamison as Project Manager. Originally from France, Guillaume and Jamison have maintained a friendship while living in Boise. Guillaume is the world's best amateur bartender!

Getting to Athens

Athens is about an hour and a half drive from Atlanta. For guests traveling from out of state, we recommend flying into Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). From there, we suggest one of the following options: Groome Transportation – A reliable shuttle service that departs ATL about every hour and has four convenient drop-off locations in Athens. Fares are $52 per adult when booked online, $28 for children ages 3–7, and complimentary for infants under 3.Rental Car – For flexibility during your stay, you may choose to rent a vehicle directly at the airport. Once in Athens, most shops, restaurants, and hotels are conveniently walkable, while our wedding venue is just a short 10-minute Uber ride from downtown.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Athens! To make your trip easier, we’ve reserved room blocks at a few nearby hotels - each within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops, and the UGA campus. You’ll find a mix of boutique charm, modern comfort, and familiar favorites, so you can choose the option that best fits your style. Springtime in Athens is always a busy season, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot. Each hotel is just a short 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride to our wedding venue.

We encourage guests to use Uber or Lyft for ease and convenience. Drivers may bring you directly down the driveway and drop you off at the roundabout in front. For those who prefer to drive, we kindly ask that you park along the street. There is plenty of street parking nearby, just a short walk down the driveway.
