Athens is about an hour and a half drive from Atlanta. For guests traveling from out of state, we recommend flying into Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). From there, we suggest one of the following options:

Groome Transportation – A reliable shuttle service that departs ATL about every hour and has four convenient drop-off locations in Athens. Fares are $52 per adult when booked online, $28 for children ages 3–7, and complimentary for infants under 3.

Rental Car – For flexibility during your stay, you may choose to rent a vehicle directly at the airport. Once in Athens, most shops, restaurants, and hotels are conveniently walkable, while our wedding venue is just a short 10-minute Uber ride from downtown.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Athens! To make your trip easier, we’ve reserved room blocks at a few nearby hotels - each within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops, and the UGA campus. You’ll find a mix of boutique charm, modern comfort, and familiar favorites, so you can choose the option that best fits your style. Springtime in Athens is always a busy season, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

Each hotel is just a short 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride to our wedding venue.

We encourage guests to use Uber or Lyft for ease and convenience. Drivers may bring you directly down the driveway and drop you off at the roundabout in front.

For those who prefer to drive, we kindly ask that you park along the street. There is plenty of street parking nearby, just a short walk down the driveway.
